ANCHOR BAY ENROLLS IN CLASS OF 1984
The cool announcements just keep coming from Anchor Bay Entertainment, whose Michael Felsher just told Fango, We will be doing CLASS OF 1984 in the first half of 2005. Directed by Mark L. Lester from a screenplay he wrote with Tom (FRIGHT NIGHT) Holland and John Saxton, 1982s CLASS is the ultraviolent story of a teacher (Perry King) who takes gruesome revenge on a teenage gang led by Vincent Van Patten that terrorizes him, fellow instructors (including one played by Roddy McDowall) and students (like Michael J. Fox in an early role). Itll be our usual special-edition/restoration, Felsher reports, with all the goodies. Its too early to announce details, but Mark Lester will definitely be involved in the transfer and the extras. Other participants and more details will be revealed in the coming months.
