13 IS UNLUCKY
Seemingly under our very noses, Filmax International continues to make films that are bound to surprise and horrify normal audiences.
One of the Creature Corner readers pointed out a new acquisition Filmax has taken on, a film called When The Bell Chimed 13, that sounds like it might be right up our alley.
They story is about Jacob, a man who returns to his home town after learning his mother, thought dead for many years now, is still alive and living with the horrible guilt of murdering her husband. She warns Jacob that his father’s ghost is lurking about, and sure enough the spirit shows up to reek havoc on Jacob’s life, and forcing him to face the truths about the past.
The film was awarded Best Feature Film at Stiges back in 2002, but there’s no word on Filmax’s intentions with it (if any) in the states. We’ll keep you up to date as we learn more, but for now check out the films’ official site (just make sure your Spanish is up to par) right here.
