BUFFY RETURNS ANIMATED
You can’t keep a good girl down, though, and now more news is surfacing about the long-proposed ‘Buffy’ animated series.
Things are looking up, in that some voices have already came in to lay down tracks for the pilot episode, including Giselle Loren who is taking the role of Buffy’s voice from Sarah Michelle Gellar, who’s too busy making movies. Not to worry, Loren’s the same girl that does the excellent job voicing the world’s most beloved slayer on the two Buffy video games that are out there, so she knows her stuff.
‘Im an actress. I studied [Gellar], I learned how and where to place my voice to match hers…I play a blonde and kick some baddies asses while wielding pointy objects. Life is good’
It sure is, especially if this series gets off the ground, though as of now it hasn’t been bought. The animation needs to be completed before they can pitch the pilot to see if there are any interested parties out there, so who knows what could happen next.
