ROGER AVARY RE-WRITING SILENT HILL?
One of Quentin Tarantino’s buddies Roger Avary, who helped write ‘Pulp Fiction,’ ‘Killing Zoe’ and other great films, could be re-writing the script for the Silent Hill video game adaptation for French director Christophe Gans. After all this time, it looks like it might be in good hands- or is it? Read on for the scoop…
Whether or not he’s still writing it we’re not sure of, but he was supposed to at one point according to his official website:
‘What the heck am I going to do?! It’s a disaster because I was just about to begin work on rewriting ‘Silent Hill’ for French director Christophe Gans. I guess it’s time to test out Movie Magic Screenwriter. See, a while back Stephen Greenstein, the President of Movie Magic, sent me their latest version to test — to see if it had overcome some of the issues that I thought were lacking in earlier versions. I never got around to it, but now it looks like I’m going to have to — and in the middle of a mission critical operation (I need to have a script done by mid-October so that Gans can go into production. So now we’re going to see how Screenwriter performs under the stress of a deadline. I will keep you updated.’
So will he get around to it soon? Let’s hope so, because he’s a genuis…
