RIDING THE BULLET TRAILER
The trailer for the Mick Garris adaptation of Stephen Kings Riding the Bullet is live and ready for you to look at.
This will make the 5th time that Garris and King have teamed up on a project, prior projects including The Stand mini-series as well as Kings reworking of The Shining, which was also in mini-series form. Click here to view the trailer for yourself, but to me it has a ‘made for TV’ feel to it as well. Some good creepy moments in it though and it does its job, which of course is to make you want to see the final product, so mission accomplished there.
For those of you not up to speed with this project, here is a brief synopsis
Based on a popular e-book/short story by King, the story centers around a college student hitch-hiking along the back roads of Maine on a pitch-black Autumn night, on a journey to reach the hospital where his mother lay dying. As his trip turns into a moving odyssey of unexpected proportions, he faces not only very real demons from his past, but uncertainties from the present. And, he soon discovers, the imminent prospect of his own death.
The film stars Jonathan Jackson, David Arquette, Barbara Hershey, Erika Christensen and Cliff Robertson.
