FRIGHT ANTHOLOGY IN SEASONS
Vancouver-based OmegaWorks Pictures is wrapping up postproduction on the horror anthology THE HORROR SEASONS. The four-part feature tells a different scary tale for each time of the year: ‘The Darkest Secret’ (autumn) follows a man (Shawn Buffington) who rents a room on Halloween night and discovers that it is haunted by the ghost of his dead stepbrother; ‘Satan Claws’ (winter) is a mythical demon that a priest (Andrew Mondia) tries to convince his flock is responsible for a series of small-town killings; ‘Easter Beast’ (spring) is a monster that arises from the underworld to right a past wrong; and ‘Thirst for Blood’ (summer) is what a young woman (Krista Kelloway) suffers after being bitten by a vampire. Buffington also directed, produced and scripted three of the episodes; ‘Darkest Secret’ was penned by William Pattison, who wrote a quartet of FRIDAY THE 13TH young-adult novels under the pen name Eric Morse. The music is by Lowell Morris, with a special appearance by the heavy metal band Live She Cries. Check out the official website, which contains more details, photos and a trailer, here.
