Cinescape reported the following on new casting for the US remake of Ring: Quite a number of actors have jumped on board DreamWorks' remake of the Japanese horror film RINGU (THE RING).
Martin Henderson (WINDTALKERS) is the latest major addition to the film's cast. Henderson will take on the role of the ex-husband of a journalist (to be played by Naomi Watts) who is investigating the origins of a video tape that kills the person who has watched it in seven days. The ex-couple must set aside their differences in order to defuse the threat before it's too late.
Besides Henderson, the film's cast will also include David Dorfman, Amber Tamblyn, Rachael Bella and Brian Cox.
