MEAT MARKET DIRECTOR GETS ALL DEAD INSIDE
Frontline Films and Canadian moviemaker Brian Clement are currently casting their latest project, DEAD INSIDE. The film is set in the 1940s in the aftermath of WWII, and follows a pair of detectives and the scientists they recruit as they investigate a haunted house. ‘This is a classic-style horror movie, with a focus on mystery, atmosphere and fright above all else,’ Clement says on the site. ‘Gore will be present but minimal and well-placed for maximum shock (not stomach-turning nausea). THERE ARE NO ZOMBIES IN THIS MOVIE. NEVER EVER NO WAY,’ he adds, no doubt as a caveat to those familiar with his previous productions, the undead-strewn MEAT MARKET duo, BINGE & PURGE and EXHUMED. ‘This movie is set in the 1940s,’ he continues, ‘so no brightly dyed hair, obvious tattoos (that cant be covered), or other physical details that are clearly anachronistic.’ Potential actors should live within easy traveling distance of Victoria, British Columbia, where the movie will be shot; go here for more details.
