GOYER TO BE INVISIBLE MAN
Variety reports that David Goyer will follow up this December?s BLADE: TRINITY by directing THE INVISIBLE, a remake of the Swedish supernatural thriller, for Spyglass Pictures and DreamWorks. Written by Mick Davis, the movie focuses on two teenagers who cannot be seen by others?one because he?s a ghost, murdered by a fellow student, the other metaphorically invisible due to the neglect she?s suffered since her mother?s death. Joel Bergvall and Simon Sandquist helmed the Swedish version, based on a translation of Davis? original screenplay, which just won the Best Picture prize at LA?s Screamfest. Davis is also writing and will direct a new version of THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY that rolls next year. See FANGORIA #239, on sale December 7, for a Goyer interview.
