CAGE LOCKED AS GHOST RIDER
Last week Nicolas Cage said he was still deciding whether or not he'll be playing 'Ghost Rider'. Today, a series of spokespeople for the film - set to start shooting in January, in Melbourne - say that's feline poop. The one-time son-in-law of 'The King' has indeed been signed to play the Marvel character. What, me worry?
Publicist Fiona Searson told the AAP that there was no uncertainty about the production.
'None of it is true,' she said. 'The film will be made here and he (Cage) has signed a contract ... They're due to start (filming) at the end of January and that's when they always were due to start and that's what they're working towards.'
Film Victoria has contacted Columbia Pictures and has been assured that the comic cum film will indeed be filming in Melbourne in 2005. The Cage stuff is 'rumour and innuendo', they say.
Rumour and Innuendo started by the man himself?
Personally, I think it's a safe bet to say that Cage has always been a lock, he just didn't know how much he was allowed to say. A common problem that communication between players thing in Hollywood. Anywhere actually.
