URBANE WEBSITE OPENS
British director Frazer Lee gave Fango the scoop that the official website for his upcoming feature URBANE just opened here. Though the film, which we first told you about here, isnt scheduled to shoot till this summer, the site is already fully loaded with movie info, production art/storyboards, music by veteran Italian horror composer Claudio Simonetti, interactive features and an extra bonus courtesy of star Doug Bradley. ‘Doug performed some awesome, chilling voiceovers for a secret feature on the website,’ Lee tells Fango. ‘Yes, just like a DVD, Urbanethemovie.com includes a hidden Easter egg that really sets the tone of the movie. See if you can find itgood luck!’
Theres plenty more planned for the site as the film nears and goes through shooting. ‘I see the URBANE website as a rolling archive of the movies production,’ Lee says. ‘Not to mention a prototype for the wealth of DVD extras we are planning. Wed like horror fans to register for updates so we can keep you posted on developments as they happen. That way, you can watch the movie unfold and get an inside look at the creation of this independent horror productionand dont worry, we wont pass your details on to any demons!’ Lee scripted URBANE with Max Kinnings; Joseph Alberti and Mark Wooding, who worked on Tobe Hoopers TOOLBOX MURDERS, are producing, and Bradleys HELLRAISER collaborator Bob Keen will create the makeup FX.
