MORE COTTAGE INFO

Last week, we told you about the casting of British hottie Jennifer Ellison in an upcoming UK horror film called THE COTTAGE. Now Fangoria's Brit correspondent Alan Jones has weighed in with further information about the movie. ?THE COTTAGE is being produced by Basil Stephens and Ken Marshall at Random Harvest, the guys behind OCTANE [released Stateside as PULSE] and LETHAL DOSE,? he tells us. ?Paul Hyett, from THE LAST HORROR MOVIE and THE DESCENT, is doing the special makeups; they've asked me if I will allow them to plaster-cast my head for a scene where the lead girl finds a row of victims? noggins. It was originally going to star Alex Kingston from ER, and the title will change as no one likes it?and in the UK, ?cottage? is gay slang for a public toilet. I did suggest [LAST HORROR?s] Kevin Howarth for one of the lead maniac roles. It starts out as a heist thriller before becoming WRONG TURN nasty, and that?s all I know about the story at the moment.?
