All Souls Day Premieres on Sci-Fi
This Saturday at 9 p.m., The Sci Fi Channel premieres ALL SOULS DAY: DIA DE LOS MUERTOS, a zombie thriller set on the Mexican Day of the Dead. While stranded in a remote village, two college students prevent a ritualistic human sacrifice to the Aztec goddess of death from taking place, an act which causes the deceased to rise from their graves in search of living flesh. Taking shelter in a mysterious hotel, the pair try to uncover the dark curse which hangs over the small Mexican town before its too late.
ALL SOULS DAY, directed by Jeremy (THE ATTIC EXPEDITIONS) Kasten, stars Marisa Ramirez and Travis Wester as the young couple, and features performances from such genre faves as Laura (MULHOLLAND DR.) Harring, Ellie (HALLOWEEN 4 and 5) Cornell, Danny (FROM DUSK TILL DAWN) Trejo, David (FIRESTARTER) Keith and Jeffrey (RE-ANIMATOR) Combs, along with Nichole (MAY) Hiltz and Laz (CONSTANTINE) Alonso. Anchor Bay will release the movie on DVD later this year or in early 2006.
