Japanese Pulse Hitting Theaters This August
According to Variety, Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s creepy horror film from 2001, Pulse (aka Kairo), is hitting select theaters on August 23rd, 2005 thanks to Magnolia Pictures. Along with Ringu, this is one of the films that started the Asian horror remake heat wave here in the States- this is one not to miss! After one of their friends commits suicide, strange things begin happening to a group of young Tokyo residents. One of them sees visions of his dead friend in the shadows on the wall, while another’s computer keeps showing strange, ghostly images. Is their friend trying to contact them from beyond the grave, or is there something much more sinister going on?
