Koch Vision and FANGORIA magazine have announced the special features to be found on FANGORIA’s BLOOD DRIVE II short film search/magazine-style DVD.
Fuse TV’s sultry Mistress Juliya, best known for her VJ duties on URANIUM and SLAVE TO THE METAL shows, will host BLOOD DRIVE II, which Koch Vision releases on DVD October 4. Besides being a major heavy metal fanatic, Juliya is also a big horror buff, which lead BLOOD DRIVE II co-producers/co-creators Tim Hinsley and Tony Timpone to offer her the gig.
In addition, BLOOD DRIVE II will feature an exclusive shop tour of KNB EFX Group’s headquarters in Chatsworth, CA. KNB chiefs Greg Nicotero and Howard Berger will take viewers behind the scenes of their work on LAND OF THE DEAD, KILL BILL, SIN CITY and many other recent genre films. Rob Graydon directed and Dan Halperin produced the KNB story and Juliya wraparounds under their Orson Entertainment shingle.
Bruce Campbell fans are in for a huge treat as well on BLOOD DRIVE II, as the DVD will offer an exclusive interview with the EVIL DEAD star at his homestead in Jacksonville, OR. “The Campbell segment is a real panic,” says Timpone, who interviewed Campbell for BLOOD DRIVE II, accompanied by segment director/producer Byrd (HAUNTERS) McDonald. “We get to see the man relaxing at his wilderness retreat, follow his frisky cat, see his own personal chainsaw and woodshed, plus hear Bruce sound off on conventions, stardom, the EVIL DEAD remake, how Fango lead him to his wife [!] and tons more revealing stuff.”
“We are very pleased that, once again, the established entertainment community has decided to join us in showcasing new talent,” adds Hinsley, who serves as Koch Vision’s vice president of development. “The short films are great, and the addition of Juliya, Bruce and KNB only adds excitement to the ongoing BLOOD DRIVE project.”
BLOOD DRIVE II (recorded in Dolby Digital; aspect ratio: 4×3, 1.66 letterbox) will also include commentary by Hinsley and Timpone. You can watch for more details at www.fangoriablooddrive.com.
