Although no details have been revealed about the plot, Beacon Pictures has tapped Adam Ripp and Steven Wolfson to write the screenplay for Serial for producers Charlie Lyons of Beacon and Arnold Rifkin of Cheyenne Entertainment for a low-six figure, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Ripp also will direct the film, which is described as a psychological horror thriller.
