We’ve been telling you about Eli Roth’s next film, Hostel, for months now, with no word of when or where it was first going to be shown.
Variety is reporting that Hostel will make its premiere, albeit in work-in-progress form, during the Midnight Madness section of the 30th Anniversary Toronto International Film Festival. You may remember the Festival is also where Roth’s freshman effort, Cabin Fever, debuted, being snatched up by Lions Gate almost immediately. Other horror films that will be showing up are Jake West’s Evil Aliens, Billy O’Brien’s Isolation, and Takashi Miike’s long-awaited The Great Yokai War.
That’s a great lineup, indeed, but not even the half of it. For the full list of what’s playing and when, and how to get in in the first place, check out TIFF’s official site right here!
