Australian actors Sigrid Thornton [“SeaChange”, “The Man from Snowy River”] and Jacqueline McKenzie [“The 4400”, “Deep Blue Sea”] have been enlisted to co-star with American actor William H.Macy in the first of the new Stephen King telemovies spawned from his “Nightmares and Dreamscapes” book, says The Sunday Herald Sun.
The telemovie, being filmed at the Docklands Studios, tells the story of Clyde Umney, a private detective who discovers that he is actually the character in a book written by Samuel Landry. The writer arrives and wants to swap places with him. After the meeting, Umney suddenly finds himself living as a real person, not a storybook character, and must learn many things we take for granted.
