Castle Rain Entertainment, the Canadian Indy publisher is launching a new Jack the Lantern one-shot, titled Jack the Lantern: 1942 as a tune up to the new mini-series (set for mid 2006). The original six-issue mini-series, which was created and written by Michael (Jestercrow) Angelos, was a cult-hit and featured art by Scott (22 brides) and the Godfather of horror, Tim (FAUST) Vigil.
The book, scheduled for a December 2005 release, will feature the amazing new art team of Jerry (Something Wicked, Halloween) and Tony (Frankenstein) Bledsoe. This will also mark the first color book for Castle Rain Entertainment.
The book is an origin story that will stretch from early 1900’s America to the battlefields of World War 2. Jack the lantern: 1942 is an epic journey with cinematic drama mixed with high octane action.
