Brennan S. Freemantle’s The Hell House began casting yesterday making John H. Tobin the first to be cast. John H. Tobin has most recently appeared in the films, The Italian Job, Wedding Crashers, and most notably to genre fans, Rob Zombie’s The Devils Rejects. Freemantle is very excited about the films first casting attatchment, and had the following thoughts on the descision: “Though I can not say much for the moment, I feel very good about the descision to cast John, and the role we have decided to place him in. I know John is perfect for the character, and that he will not dissappoint.” The film is a throwback to the 1970’s/80’s slasher/survival films with a few modern twists and turns including a terrifying new take on the “man in the mask” of yesteryear, and a touch of vouyerism.
