Variety reports that Val Kilmer, Vincent Gallo and Alicia Silverstone have signed to star in MOSCOW ZERO, a $10-million horror film that rolls next month in Moscow, Spain and Britain, and which we first reported on way back here. Directed by Luna (a.k.a. María Lidón), who previously helmed the sci-fi adventure STRANDED (also co-starring Gallo), ZERO is about a rescue team headed by Gallo’s character who descend beneath Moscow’s streets to find an anthropologist who has disappeared while researching the city’s underground homeless population. There, they discover first a society whose members include Kilmer and Silverstone, and then a series of caverns beneath that which hold horrible secrets. Barcelona’s Valentia Pictures and Britain’s Vision View are co-producing the film.
