Fright favorites Bill (THE DEVIL’S REJECTS) Moseley and Piper (CARRIE) Laurie will topline the upcoming horror yarn JAWBONE for director Ron (BLOOD ANGELS) Oliver. A “ghost story/serial killer/revenge script” written by Michael (POLTERGEIST) Grais and Larry Koch, JAWBONE is being produced by Grais and Judy Fox and will lens in South Africa in summer 2006.
“Bill Moseley is actually playing a cleancut, nice man in the Norman Bates mode,” Oliver, whose Tom Arnold film CHASING CHRISTMAS debuted on ABC Family this week, tells Fango. “The premise of the movie is the old ‘nurture/nature’ argument-can you actually ‘make’ a psychopath? And what would you do with him if you did? We’re still casting the lead, a Naomi Watts/Charlize Theron type.”
Moseley, just back from Poland where he appeared in the Robby (THE VISITATION) Henson thriller THR3E, can barely contain his enthusiasm for his latest creepy character. “Jawbone is a monster risen from the dark bayou of the haunted heart,” the actor tells Fango. “From his rusty tools to his pitiless eyes, this is one nightmare from which you’ll never awake! Woof!”
