Here’s one of the most vague news pieces we’ve ever posted. Warner Bros. Pictures has bought a pitch for an untitled supernatural thriller from writing duo Richard Potter – a former Dimension exec – and Matthew Stravitz for Mosaic Media to produce, according to the Hollywood Reporter. WB and Mosaic are keeping the logline under tight wraps, except to say the story is inspired by actual events. Potter ankled Dimension in 2000 to write. While at the genre label, he oversaw projects including “Scream,” “Teaching Mrs. Tingle” and “Hellraiser: Bloodline.” Potter only recently teamed with Stravitz. Preemptive purchase of the untitled pitch marks their first studio sale.
