Kolchak’s coming back in style!
Even with the all too recent loss of Darren McGavin fresh in our collective horror consciousness, the folks at Moonstone books are betting that we will soon feel the thirst for fresh tales of The Night Stalker.
This July they will be bleeding out Kolchak the Night Stalker: Bare Bones. The 464 page graphic novel will contain the original scripts from the Kolchak Tales of the Night Stalker comics, issues #1 through 7. There will also be three graphic novels included; “Get Off Belial”, “Lambs to Slaughter”, and “Eve of Terror” lurch their way onto the page. Poor old Carl never had so many problems in one place!
Add on author liner notes for each of the stories, a brand new comic written by Joe Gentile and Dave Ulanski, and you just have to wonder how they will fit in new illustrations by Bill Halliar into the oversized occultic odyssey!
Not a bad deal or the meager sum of $19.99. All in all it was a better deal than Kolchack got at the hands of Stuart Townsend but unlike recent television, Moonstone Books is not in the business of ripping people off.
