According to The Hollywood Reporter, a psychothriller called DISTURBIA will be the first production by DreamWorks since the company was bought by Paramount. D.J. Caruso will direct the film, which focuses on a troubled teenager (to be played by CONSTANTINE’s Shia LaBeouf) who is assigned to house arrest after a violent outburst at his high school. While thus confined, he begins spotting what he believes is evidence that his next-door neighbor is a serial killer. Christopher (ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE) Landon penned the original script, which was rewritten by Carl Ellsworth, who scripted RED EYE for DreamWorks and Wes Craven.
