Do you know why this year rules? Because we get two freakin’ Halloweens! Sure there’s the obvious October 31st date, but this summer we also have the day of the beast 6-6-06, which is the same day Fox is releasing their remake of ‘The Omen’.
Yesterday B-D reader afireinside dropped us a link to Alexz Johnson’s website where she reports that New Line Home Entertainment will release Final Destination 3 on the same day. No word on the specs other than a cast commentary track. Set six years after the original Final Destination film, the latest installment in the series centers around a high school senior who has a premonition of a fatal roller coaster accident involving herself and all her friends. When the premonition proves true, those who have “cheated death” and survived the accident are forced to deal with the repercussions of escaping their fate.
