Writer/director Jeff Thomas, creator of the above-average indie chiller 13 SECONDS, gave Fango the news and first photo from his new movie FALLEN ANGELS. Produced by Robert Rowland and Myron St. John, the film features fright faves Michael (original HILLS HAVE EYES) Berryman, David (LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT) Hess and Kevin (INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS) McCarthy, along with STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION’s Michael Dorn and Adrianne (AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL) Curry (pictured). More cast will be announced soon. In charge of the creature and gore FX is HELLRAISER veteran Bob Keen.
Thomas provides the following synopsis: “The film opens with the demolition of the turn-of-the-century prison, and the uncovering of a sub-basement structure that houses the 100-year-old remains of several brutally slain children. However, this only leads to a more disturbing discovery that eventually unveils a legion of demons and their even more chilling origins.” The first round of filming in Northern California has already been completed, with the remainder taking place on location at the Ohio State Reformatory soon.
