We were informed the other day about a whole new film studio here in the UK. Named the House of Fear.
40 years after Hammer, House of Fear are trying to put horror back into the forefront of the British film industry.
House of Fear is a production/distribution company with their own studio, stages, effects departments, editing rooms, dubbing facilities etc. Their first release is part of a trilogy titled The Raven with episode I entitled Alone in the Dark starring Steven Craine, Rik Mayall, Norman Wisdom in his last film, Jason Donovan, Robin Askwith, Eileen Daly and Christopher Walken with special effects by Alan Whibley (The Shining). It’s written, produced & directed by Richard Driscoll and is coming out this October.
For the first time House of Fear are exclusively selling the trilogy through the internet with the first of the trilogy going up for sale in October with the second in November and the third in December.
The website will be active by Friday June 16th 2006. So check it out: www.house-of-fear.com
