Fango has learned that SNOOP DOGG’S HOOD OF HORROR, which recently played Montreal’s Fantasia festival, will hit theaters November 4 from Xenon Pictures. Current plans call for the film to debut in 30-50 theaters in major U.S. markets, with the release expanding over the subsequent weeks. Prior to this, HOOD OF HORROR will open LA’s Screamfest event, which runs October 13-22 at Mann’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
HOOD OF HORROR, directed by Stacy Title and co-scripted by 2001 MANIACS’ Tim Sullivan, is an anthology hosted by rapper-turned-actor Snoop and containing three tales of urban evil and the supernatural. You can find out more about the film at its MySpace page.
