Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes, the first of the back-to-back shot sequels, has been given an official air date, while Pumpkinhead: Love Hurts has been given a new name.
MJSimpson.co.uk reports that the Jake West (Evil Aliens) helmed third film, Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes, will debut at 9PM Eastern time October 28th on the Sci-Fi Channel, while the new title to the Mike Hurst (House of the Dead 2) directed fourth entry is now Pumpkinhead: Blood Feud. The fourth film will air around Halloween in 2007.
In Ashes to Ashes, British actress Lynne Verrall, under heavy makeup, plays Haggis, the old crone who can raise the vengeful demon, while Bunt Wallace, the teenager who led Harley to the witch, is now grown up and played by TV actor Douglas Roberts.
The story centres around Doc Frasier (played by horror icon Doug Bradley), an eccentric small-town physician with a sideline in unauthorized organ donation.
