The New Year has officially rolled around and Clive Barker’s MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN is pulling onto the production track, with principal photography scheduled to begin in the coming months with Ryuhei (VERSUS) Kitamura on board to direct. But many are asking: What’s the deal with the title? Variety and various other outlets have been reporting on the film with the condensed moniker MIDNIGHT TRAIN and somehow…it has stuck. That won’t be the case any longer: Barker’s office has confirmed to Fango that the film will retain its fleshy substance and be called MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN—staying true to the BOOKS OF BLOOD source story—from here on out.
Look for more updates on this long-awaited adaptation as cameras roll, with Bradley (ALIAS) Cooper starring, very soon!
