Taking a cue from the Sundance Film Festival, the soon-to-begin Tribeca Film Festival in Manhattan is offering a Midnight series as part of its extensive lineup, and a trio of superior genre films will be playing there in advance of their theatrical releases. Danny Boyles post-plague shocker 28 DAYS LATER screens Wednesday, May 7 at midnight and Friday, May 9 at 11:30 p.m.; Robert Parigis unnerving LOVE OBJECT will also be shown May 7 at midnight and on Saturday, May 10 at 11 p.m.; and the Pang Brothers well-reviewed Asian supernatural chiller THE EYE screens May 9 at midnight and May 10 at 11 p.m. Go to www.tribecafilmfestival.org for more details and to order tickets.
