According to The Hollywood Reporter, London/LA-based Future Films is developing a domestic fright feature called THE NURSERY, to be directed by Michael Radford, whose credits include 1984, IL POSTINO and the Asia Argento-starrer B. MONKEY. It’s about a young pregnant woman and her husband who move into a beautiful but creepy house where malevolent forces threaten her unborn child. The script was written by Chris Wooding, the award-winning British author of genre novels including THE HAUNTING OF ALAIZABEL CRAY, POISON, the BRAIDED PATH fantasy trilogy and this year’s THE FADE. Casting and a start date for THE NURSERY have yet to be announced.
