More often than not, when big-league scribe Stephen King has one of his novels adapated for the silver screen, publishers scramble to reissue a multitude of copies of said adaptation. This week is no exception with The Mist arriving in theaters on Wednesday.
In addition to The Mist being reissued in book stores, the cool folks over at Cemetery Dance have issued The Secretary of Dreams, Volume Two. It continues where the first volume left off, combining grueling tales of horror from the master of macabre Stephen King with the kick-ass artwork of Maine artist Glenn Chadbourne. This mofo displays a killer combo of King’s words with Chadbourne’s creepy black and white illustrations, text, and artwork. Just check out the freaky monkey above from King’s story appropriately titled The Monkey and you’ll get a small taste of what’s in store.
Gray Matter, One for the Road, and In the Deathroom are just a few of the classic King yarns included in this collection.
If those aren’t enough to peak your interest, there’s also a chance to score signed copies of these limited editions by King and Chadbourne. You better hurry, though, because there’s a waiting list for these.
