For those who’ve been wondering what interesting indie horror projects we can look forward to in the coming year, the news has broke about one such film.
Patrick Rea of SenoReality Pictures, which is based in Lawrence, Kansas, has informed that pre-production has begun on his second feature film, Nail Biter, with principal shooting scheduled for spring, 2008. Rea promises casting news is forthcoming and describes Nail Biter, which he co-wrote with Kendal Sinn and will direct, as “a horror film that combines classic monster movie elements set within the backdrop of unpredictable Kansas weather.” Support for the project is being provided by local television company Free State Studios, a division of the privately held World Company, and Kansas City-based Take Two Entertainment.
