Fango got an update from director/co-writer Chris .R. Notarile on METHODIC, his new horror flick that stars Charles (HALLOWEEN) Cyphers, Rachael (SCREAMING DEAD) Robbins and Brandon (POLYCARP) Slagle. “We are in postproduction right now,” the director tells Fango. “The film is complete and once it is mastered, we will be ready for our spring release.”
Notarile, who also directed the fan shorts THE LAST HALLOWEEN and FRIDAY THE 31ST: MICHAEL VS. JASON, was inspired to create METHODIC after his dissatisfaction with hearing about Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN remake. Co-written by Slagle, the film focuses on a young boy who murders his parents on his birthday. He’s confined to an asylum, but no one knows that the lad was in fact possessed by an evil spirit known as “The Dollman.” This evil entity continues to remain inside the boy, waiting for the day it can create more mayhem…
