Daily Variety has reported that Hilary Swank is in final negotiations to star in Fangland, an adaptation of the eponymous novel by John Marks.
A TV producer heads out to Romania for an interview with a notorious European arms dealer, who it turns out is actually Dracula.
Marks used his experience as a “60 Minutes” producer when writing his novel; screenwriter Mark Wheaton used his experience as a horror fan when penning the first draft of the script.
Apparently the novel parallels Bram Stoker’s Dracula in several ways and has been highly praised since it’s release.
