Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it will release the military horror film OUTPOST on DVD March 11.

The feature directing debut of Steve Barker (who took over for originally announced Neil Marshall) and written by Rae Brunton, the movie is set in WWII Europe, where a group of former soldiers headed by ex-Marine DC (Ray Stevenson, who took over from Thomas Jane in the upcoming PUNISHER: WAR ZONE) is hired by a mysterious businessman to accompany him to an old military bunker.

There, they find the bloody remains of bizarre experiments—and the surviving result, which begins to kill the men off one by one. The cast also includes Richard (HANNIBAL RISING) Brake, Julian (DOMINION: PREQUEL TO THE EXORCIST) Wadham, Paul Blair and Brett Fancy, with makeup FX by Mike Bates and Hybrid Enterprises.

The movie will be presented in anamorphic 2.40:1 widescreen with 5.1 audio and deleted scenes; retail price is $24.96, and cover art is coming soon.
