After some speculation of will she, won't she, today Variety confirmed that Christian Serratos ('Hannah Montana) has been cast in Catherine Hardwick's vampire drama 'Twilight'. Serrator has landed the role of Angela Webber, and she'll be joining a host of names already signed on that include Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Kellan Lutz, Justin Chon, Anna Kendrick, Rachelle Lefevre and Nikki Reed. Hardwick is helming a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg for Summit Entertainment. 'Twilight' is based on the teen novels from Stephenie Meyer. "A high school girl (Bella) falls in love with a vampire. The new couple leads a rival vampire clan to pursue them and attempt to force her to decide if she, too, wishes to become one of the undead."
