The George Romero presented anthology feature ‘Deadtime Stories’ is nearing it’s way to post-production and Fango has just gotten some nice gruesome snaps from the the three tales of terror. Check them out below.
Romero collaborator Jeff Monahan explains. “The first story, ‘Dust’ [middle photo below], was our EC Comics homage. The second, ‘On Sabbath Hill’ [photo on right], was our ghost story. We decided to go with a gorier tale for the third segment, “The Gorge” [first pic], and really finish off with a bang.”
“The Gorge” was conceived and written by Monahan and the story involves a love triangle, a cave-in and a horrific transformation.
With principal photography complete on “The Gorge,” ‘Deadtime Stories’ is eyeing a Spring completion. Executive-produced by George and Christine Romero and produced by 72nd St. Films, 555 Films and Marty Schiff, ‘Deadtime Stories’ stars John Romualdi, Amanda Frost, Larry John Meyers, Adrienne Wehr, John Shepard, Sam Redford, Amy Lynn Best and Ian Harding.
