Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Robert Duvall are all starring in John Hillcoat's adaptation of 'The Road', and Dimension Films have just announced a Thanksgiving weekend US release date for the movie.

The story centers on a man who embarks on a nightmarish road trip after a nuclear explosion in an attempt to transport his son to safety while fending off cannibals.

'The Road' is released stateside on November 26th.
