James Felix McKenney, writer/director of the new movie ‘Satan Hates You’ has given Fango the lowdown on a new quartet of top horror names joining the cast of his latest horror project. Debbie Rochon, Michael Berryman, ‘Zombie Survival Guide’ author Max Brooks and indie filmmaker/actor Alan Rowe Kelly are all set to join the cast.
“I absolutely loved [McKenney’s] ‘Off Season’ and ‘Automatons’ when I saw them last year,” Rochon tells Fango, “so you can imagine how happy I was when James invited me to be a part of ‘Satan Hates You’. This is a very special movie which is being approached in a hyper-serious fashion. James found the entire Christian-scare formula for approaching a horror movie to be very compelling. I couldn’t agree more; this is a very specific genre, one I have never experienced before—which of course makes it really interesting for me, after making 140 movies, to have such an original piece to work on.
“We are poring over all the Christian shockers we can find to make sure we tackle this subject matter perfectly,” she continues. “’Satan Hates You’ will be a unique film with its own special message for the many people out there who are looking for something new. It’s also a dream to work on a project not only with Angus and Reggie, but also our New York indie-film hero Larry Fessenden, who is no stranger to making horror movies with messages himself!”

The horror quartet will be joining ‘Phantasm’ stars Angus Scrimm and Reggie Bannister and a host of other horror veterans.
