Variety are reporting that actress Amanda Righetti is currently in talks to co-star in Platinum Dunes' remake of 'Friday the 13th'.

Amanda Righetti joins fellow co-stars Jared Padalecki and Derek Mears on the new remake that is being helmed by Marcus Nispel ('The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' (2003)). Damian Shannon and Mark Swift are penning the project.

Shooting is planned to get underway on April 21st in Austin, Texas.
