Chris Carter recently spoke with the Associated Press about the film and had the following to say regarding the new title:
“It’s a natural title,” Carter said in a telephone interview Tuesday during a break from editing the film. “It’s a story that involves the difficulties in mediating faith and science. `I Want to Believe.’ It really does suggest Mulder’s struggle with his faith.”
Directed by Chris Carter and co-written by Carter and longtime collaborator Frank Spotnitz, ‘The X-Files: I Want to Believe’ hits US theatres on July 25th.
