UK sources have confirmed reports that the newly revived Hammer Films has grabbed up the rights to remake Tomas Alfredson’s ‘Let the Right One In’.
The original Swedish horror tale was about Oskar, an overlooked and bullied boy, who finds love and revenge through Eli, a beautiful but peculiar girl who turns out to be a vampire.
The original ‘Let the Right One In’ itself recently played at the Tribeca Film Festival and was acquired by Magnolia Pictures for U.S. distribution.
