LIMITED FOR MY LITTLE EYE
A source tells Fango that Marc Evans chilling MY LITTLE EYE, about the frightening events that befall a group of young people involved in a BIG BROTHER-type on-line event in an isolate house, will receive token theatrical bookings in Portland, OR and Seattle, WA June 6. The movie bore a Universal tag at its head when Fango saw the film last year, but it hasnt been reported which division will be handling EYEs limited opening. This plan echoes the treatment last year of LONG TIME DEAD, which like EYE is a production of Britains Working Title Films acquired by Universal, and received a similar two-city debut in the U.S. last December.
Portland and Seattle genre fans are urged to turn out for the opening weekend of EYE; there are no plans to expand its run, but if the grosses are strong enough, anythings possible (and the movie truly deserves better). There is currently no U.S. video date set for EYE.
