Rob Schmidt’s new horror ‘Bad Meat’ has hit somewhat of a production snag. Shooting on the flick ended last Friday due to it’s financier Capitol Films whom have been facing ‘serious hardships’ that are currently affecting their productions.
‘Bad Meat’ was budgeted at around $5-$7 million and the shoot has ended reportedly because of the “non-payment of actor salaries”. And it was only two weeks from completion, sod’s law.
“Many, many people are ending up unpaid – actors, crew, catering, travel, etc. Capitol is claiming that money will be flowing by the end of the week for Bad Meat. They’re asserting that they have a very large credit facility coming from Comerica Bank. We all think that’s nonsensical.”
