NEW 'DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL' TEASER LANDS

'The Day the Earth Stood Still', a remake of the 1951 classic sci-fi film about an alien visitor and his giant robot counterpart who visit Earth, has revealed a new teaser poster as well as a better look at the first teaser. Check them out below.

Keanu Reeves will play the emotionless extraterrestrial Klaatu, the role originally played by Britsh actor Michael Rennie in the original. Reeves is joined by fellow actors Jennifer Connelly, Kathy Bates, Jon Hamm and John Cleese.

Scott Derrickson ('The Exorcism of Emily Rose' helmer) will be taking up the directorial leash on the project that will be unleashed to us on 12 December 2008.
