Joel Silver over at Dark Castle has been talking about two new thrillers whilst out promoting his latest acquirement ‘Splice’. ‘Unknown White Male’ and ‘The Apparition’ will be hitting our screens in the near future. You can read more about them below.
“The next two [for us] is Unknown White Male, with Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger and January Jones, Aidan Quinn,” he said today. Neeson finds himself playing a man who awakens from a coma and discovers his identity has been stolen, and no one believes him. Silver re-teams with director Jaume Collet-Serra (House of Wax, Orphan) on this one. “It’s really an interesting thriller. Hitchcock-y. Jaume is a really interesting director who leads you along a path and takes you on a journey. Liam is sensational. It’s very effective. We just finished shooting.”
Silver also spoke of Todd Lincoln’s new movie ‘The Apparition’. “Apparition is really scary. Ashley Greene and Sebastian Stan commit to the story, it’s a Poltergeist/Paranormal Activity vibe, but it’s really scary.”
