First Wes Craven and now John Carpenter. It’s certainly a good time if you’re an old school horror director. John Carpenter returns to feature filmmaking after too much of a long break with ‘The Ward’ – his first full-length feature film since ‘Ghosts of Mars’ (2001)! And now we can catch a glimpse of the movie’s sexy female lead Amber Heard (below) from the supernatural thriller in a new still revealed by the Toronto Int’l Film Festival website.
“Set in the ’60s, Heard plays a young woman who is admitted to a psychiatric ward. She meets other girls there with distinct personalities and discovers a mysterious girl is haunting the halls at night.”
‘The Ward’ also stars Danielle Panabaker and Jared Harris. The movie will be playing at the forementioned Toronto Int’l Film Festival to lucky audiences this September.
